An impression tray is a container made especially for taking dental impressions. It consists of a body, to contain the different existing impression materials, which will have a suitable shape adapted to the oral anatomy, varying depending on whether it is for the upper or lower arch. These trays also have a handle that will allow the dentist or dental hygienist to hold the tray to take it to the patient's mouth, so this handle should not interfere with the functionality of the impression tray.
