Legionella prevention and control:

Where is the Legionella filter placed?

It can be placed in any dental equipment, it is universal, but we always recommend to place it at the water inlet of the dental chair.

When do I have to change my Legionella filter?

It has a duration of approximately two years or a filtering capacity of 13000L, although this duration is approximate as it will always depend on the amount of water and the use of dental clinics.

Is a technician required for installation?

A specialist technician is not required to perform a correct installation.

Is it disposable?

Yes, completely disposable. As with the amalgam filter, this type of filter must be replaced with new ones after the established time and/or capacity of liters of filtration specified in each one.

What are the differences between the 6000L Legionella Filter and the 13000L Legionella Filter?

Apart from the difference in liters there is another big difference between the two. The 6000L Legionella filter allows nanofiltration (technique applied for water purification, removal of organic substances, etc.) by incorporating a carbon filter of between 5-10 µm.
